Game Breakdown
In the bottom of the second, the Lions struck first with Caleb Partin RBI two-out RBI single giving them a 1-0 lead. Fontbonne brought the tying run to third in both the third and fourth innings, however, the Lions were able to escape the jam.
In the sixth, the Lions extended its lead out to 3-0 on Jake Lawson's two RBI double. From there, the Lions scored seven more in the eighth securing the mercy-rule 10-0 win.
