Fontbonne Baseball Falls Against Millikin

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University baseball team fell 10-2 against Millikin on Wednesday night.

The Big Blue put the Griffins in an early hole with Tyler Gade hitting a leadoff home run. Millikin tacked on another run in the inning on an RBI ground out from Andy Niebrugge.

In the second, the Big Blue scored five runs on six hits to stretch its lead out to 7-0. They added three more in the fifth highlighted by Kelby Golladay's two-run homer.

Fontbonne got on the board in the bottom half of the fifth with Matt Helm belting his second homer on the season. The Griffins scored another run in the eighth, but the Big Blue went on for the eight-run win.
