Griffins Baseball Splits with Greenville at Home
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Fontbonne University baseball team split the doubleheader with Greenville University today. The Griffins fell on game one, 7-1, and then took them down on game two, 10-1. The Griffins move to 8-15 on the season and 3-3 in conference play.
Game one
By the Numbers
- Eric Creech had one hit and one run.
- Blake Van Beers recorded one RBI.
- Ty Kueper, Colby Shivers, and Austin Happel each had one hit.
Nick Glaser started on the mound for the Griffins. He pitched 7.0 innings and took the loss on the mound. He struck out four while allowing eight hits and three runs.
Vonner Panek pitched 2.0 innings and struck out three while allowing six hits and four runs.
