Baseball Sweeps Principia, Splits at Blackburn

ST. LOUIS, Mo.  – The Fontbonne University baseball team hosted Principia in a doubleheader and then traveled to Blackburn. The team improved to 12-18 on the season and 7-5 in conference play.

On game one against Principia, the Griffins took them down 11-1 in eight innings.

• Eric Creech had three hits and four RBI.
• Blake Van Beers had three hits, one run and one RBI.
• Dalton Groves had two hits, two RBI, and three runs.
• Luke Smith had two hits and two runs.

On game two against Principia, the Griffins earned an 18-7 win in seven innings.
