Baseball Concludes Regular Season at MUW

STEENS, Miss. - The Fontbonne University baseball team won the first game of a three-game series at Mississippi University for Women. The Griffins conclude regular season play with a 14-25 overall record and 5-11 in conference play.

Game one

The Griffins took a 3-1 win over MUW

• Eric Creech went 3-for-5. He scored one run and recorded one RBI.
• Ty Kueper and Colby Shivers each had one hit and one RBI.
• Luke Smith had one hit and one run.
• Dalton Groves added one hit.
• Nate Walker scored one run.

Nick Glaser started on the mound for the Griffins. He pitched 7.0 innings and struck out four while allowing seven hits and one run.

Josh Stratton took the win on the mound. He pitched 1.1 inning and struck out one.

TJ Schwartz had the save after pitching 0.2 innings. He struck out one.

Game two

MUW defeated the Griffins, 5-1

• Eli Ford scored one only run for the Griffins of the game.
• Eric Creech, Colby Shivers, and Landon Watkins each had one hit.

Zach Williams was credited with the loss on the mound. He pitched 1.2 innings and allowed three hits and three runs.

Austin Happel pitched 4.0 innings. He struck out one while allowing three hits and two runs.

Vonner Panek pitched 1.1 inning. Kendall Horton pitched 1.0 inning.

Game three

The Griffins took a 13-0 loss to MUW in seven innings

• Colby Shivers recorded two hits. 
• Nate Walker, Dalton Groves and Luke Smith each had one hit. 

Ethan Chance took the loss on the mound after pitching 1.1 innings. He allowed five hits and five runs. 

Vonner Panek pitched 1.2 innings. He allowed four hits and one run. 

Camden Coleman pitched 2.0 innings. He struck out one while allowing three hits and one run. 

Darren Luchetti pitched 0.2 innings. He struck out one while allowing four hits and five runs. 

Andrew Hartle pitched 0.1 inning. He allowed one hit and one run.
