Baseball Takes Game Two Over Eureka in Home Doubleheader

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Fontbonne University baseball team split their home doubleheader against SLIAC opponent Eureka College.
The Eureka Red Devils defeated the Griffins on game one, 10-6.
Then, on game two, the Griffins turned things around ended up victorious with a 6-2 win over Eureka.
On game one, Eric Creech recorded three hits. Ty Kueper scored two runs while Davin Smith drove in four runs. Creech, Smith, Josh Rhiney and Bryce McKinnon each scored one run.
Kendall Horton took the loss on the mound. He pitched 5.0 innings and struck out three while allowing five hits and four runs. Vonner Panek pitched 3.0 innings. He struck out one while allowing seven hits and six runs. Ben Swift pitched 1.0 inning and struck out one.
On game two, Creech and Rhiney stole bases. Gavin Lyday recorded two hits and two RBI. Bryce McKinnon went 2-for-3. Jack Reynolds scored two runs.
Derek Morganthaler earned the win on the mound. He pitched 6.0 innings and struck out three while allowing eight hits and two runs. TJ Schwartz pitched 3.0 innings. He struck out one while allowing two hits.
