Fontbonne Esports Goes 1-1 Against Lewis And Cornell
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University Esports team wrapped up a couple matches over the last couple of weeks going 1-1 against Lewis and Cornell.

How It Happened
In game one, Griffins Support Nate Hudson dies to give Lewis first blood at 5:04. One minute and 17 seconds later the Griffins struck a kill on the first Dragon (Cloud).
The team continued to carry the momentum capturing the first Rift Hearld at 8:54 and followed that up with summoning the Rift Herald Mid to destroy two Turret Plates on Lewis Mid Tower.
At 12:21, Lewis earned a kill of the second Dragon (Infernal) and destroyed the Bottom Lane Turret for the First Turret of the game four minutes later. They went on to kill the third Dragon (Mountain) less than two minutes after.
At 24:10, the Griffins stole the fourth Dragon stopping Lewis from claiming the Dragon Soul, however, they lost four members in the process. Lewis answered scoring an ace, where they kill every member of the enemy team, and go on to claim the mountain dragon soul. They closed out taking the Baron and score another Ace to destroy Fontbonne Nexus to win game one.
In game two, the Flyers earned a kill of Fontbonne Jungler Matt Young for First Blood at the 6:58 mark. Just 12 seconds later, the Flyers took the first Dragon (Cloud).
Fontbonne answered in the 10th minute capturing the Rift Herald. They went on to take the second Dragon (Infernal) in the 12th minute and summoned the Rift Herald in the Bottom Lane. Two minutes later, the Griffins destroyed the Bottom Lane turret for the First Turret of the game.
They went on to capture the second Rift Herald and summon it in the Top Lane at 17:20. Lewis followed that up taking the third Dragon (Ocean) but Fontbonne was able to take the fourth Dragon in the 23rd minute.
Lewis killed the fifth Dragon in the 28th minute, though the Griffins responded scoring an Ace and taking the Baron at 31:30. They went on to destroy Lewis' Bottom inhibitor. Even though Lewis scored an ace and claimed the Ocean Dragon Soul less than 45.0 seconds apart, the Griffins closed it out taking the second Baron of the game and destroying Lewis' Nexus for the win.
In the finale, the Flyers struck first with a kill of the first Dragon (Mountain) and killed the Griffins Top Laner Dung Ha for First Blood.
Five minutes later, the Griffins captured the second Dragon (Cloud). Over the next six minutes, the Flyers went on run capturing the Rift Herald (13:23), summoning the Rift Herald in the Top Lane to destroy the First Turret (14:57), and took the third Dragon (Ocean) in the 18th minute.
Fontbonne tried to get things going with taking the fourth Dragin, however, the Flyers followed that with scoring an Ace and taking the Baron near the 25th minute, destroyed Fontbonne's Mid and Bottom inhibitors, and took the fifth Dragon at 28:24.
It was all Lewis the rest of the way as they secured the second Baron of the game, destroyed the Griffins bottom inhibitor, Mid inhibitor, and closed out the match with an Ace and destroying Fontbonne Nexus for the win.

How It Happened
In game one, the Griffins Top Laner Dung Ha gets a solo kill on his lane opponent for First Blood. The Griffins dominated the rest of the contest securing three Dragons in the first 19 minutes and killed the Elder Dragon in the 31st. They wrapped it up on the 33rd minute scoring an Ace and destroying Cornell's Nexus to win the game.
In game two, it was Cornell this time around earning First Blood as they killed the Griffins Top Laner Dung Ha. Fontbonne killed the first Dragon (Mountain) at 5:26 but Cornell captured the Rift Herald and took the second Dragon (Cloud) in a two-minute span.
Fontbonne destroyed Cornell's Top turret for the First Turret of the game at 13:50. Cornell captured the second Rift Herald near the 16th minute but the Griffins dominated in the final minutes taking the third Dragon (Infernal), taking the fourth Dragon, securing the Baron and destroying Cornell's Nexus all in just nine minutes to secure the victory.
