Looking Ahead to the 2014-15 Season
St. Louis, Mo. - This season the Fontbonne University Men's Basketball program will be headed by first year head coach Anthony Hall, associate head coach Lance Thornhill, assistants Sean Kowal and Roshawn Russell and student assistant coach Sumner Ahearn.
The Griffins will be a combination of veterans and newcomers for the 2014-15 season. With the lost of senior, Yada Demisse, along with freshmen Brian DeGeare and Kody Ettinger, the Griffins will look for veterans Jared Greenlee (11.7 ppg, 7.1 rebs), Richard Dorhauer (10.3 ppg, 3.1 rebs, and 3.1 asst), Darius Rucker (10.2 ppg, 4.5 rebs), Blake Welch (6.2 ppg), and Orkan Bakis (5.0 ppg and 3.1 rebs) to lead the way.
Dorhauer was an Honorable Mention All-Conference player for the Griffins last season. The Griffins will also receive a great push from Greg Gentry. Gentry started at the point guard position for the 2012-13 season. Newcomers, Ben Kissing, Evan Johnson, Jack Lake, and Colin Schirmer, along with other returners, should also make great contributes for the Griffins this season.
