St. Louis, Mo. - Getting the start today against one of the top teams in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference were seniors Lelis Djona, Richard Dorhauer, Greg Gentry and Jared Greenlee. Fontbonne tried to stay with the tough Highlander offense, trailing 8-6 before MacMurray secured a seven-point run and never looked back.
The Highlanders held a 42-22 halftime lead before outscoring Fontbonne 45-36 in the second half. MacMurray got the ball inside to Brent Long and Tyshawn Willis as the two combined for almost all of their team's 42 points inside the paint.
Kody Ettinger totaled 14 points and seven rebounds in the loss while Trey Watkins tallied 13 points and six rebounds. Dorhauer finished with 11 points in his final collegiate game while Greenlee brought down 11 rebounders with seven points.
All or this year's outgoing seniors were honored before the game (pictured) and Griffin Nation wishes them the best in their future endeavors. A season recap will follow next week.
