Griffins Post Season-High 108 Points In Win Over Moody Bible
CHICAGO, Ill.—The Fontbonne University men’s basketball team bounced back in a big way on Saturday afternoon as they put up a season-high 108 points in its 69-point win over Moody Bible.

The Griffins (2-1), set new season-high marks in field goals made (41), field goal percentage (62.1), 3-pointers made (11), assists (28), and steals (17). The team scored 30 points off 21 Archers turnovers and dominated the paint with a 58-14 advantage.
Individually, Luke DeLine led with a team-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting. Caden Clark scored a career-high 14 off the bench on 5-of-6 shooting, while Kris McCann added a season-high 13 points off the bench as well. Jared Woodcock was the final Griffin to reach double-figures with 12.
The Archers (0-6), never got much going against Fontbonne. Offensively, they made 12 shots to finish with a 23.5 field goal percentage. Trey Haidle was the lone scorer in double-figures with 13.
In the first, the Griffins jumped out to a commanding 27-8 lead on Woodcock's 3-pointer at 11:29. It was all Fontbonne the rest of the way.
The team went 21-of-32 (65.6 percent) from the floor and held the Archers to just four made shots to take a 57-19 lead at the break. DeLine led all scorers after 20:00 minutes with 12 points.
The Griffins continued its stellar play on both ends of the floor in the second half. They went 20-of-34 (58.8 percent) from the floor and outrebounded Moody Bible 26-10. Defensively, the Griffins held them to a mere 27.6 field goal percentage and forced eight turnovers.
Those type of advantage numbers for Fontbonne proved to be enough for them to go on for the 69-point win.
The team returns to action at home before the Thanksgiving Break on Tuesday as they'll take on Rose-Hulman at 7 p.m.
