DeLine And Otwell Earn SLIAC Awards

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced the 2018-19 All-Conference Teams tonight and the Griffins saw the likes of Luke DeLine and Carter Otwell get selected.

DeLine, a St. Louis, Mo., native, was named to the Third Team for the first time in his career. The junior finished with a career-high 19.0 points per game, which also ties the program record in a single season.

He set new career-high marks as well in field goal percentage (49.8), assists (47), and tied his career-high with five blocks.

Otwell, meanwhile, had a strong first season with the Griffins. The freshman ended his campaign with an 8.3 point per game average, shot 46.5 percent from the floor and 34.9 percent from downtown. He also pulled down 96 rebounds and dished out 80 assists.
