Jones, Clark, And Wadlington Collect SLIAC Postseason Awards

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—At the conclusion of the first SLIAC Tournament Semifinal Game, the conference announced the All-Conference Team and the Griffins came away with three honorees.
Anthony Jones was named to the SLIAC All-Conference Second Team, Caden Clark was named to the All-Defensive Team and Jalen Wadlington earned All-Sportsmanship Team honors.
Jones, a Wentzville, Mo., native, earns All-Conference honors for the first time in his career after averaging a career-high 18.2 points per game on a 58.3 field goal percentage, 36.7 3-point percentage, and 77.2 free throw percentage. His 18.2 point per game average places him fifth all-time in a single season at Fontbonne.
The sophomore guard tied the single-game record at Fontbonne with a 47-point performance in a 155-149 overtime loss against Greenville back on February 1st.
In conference play, Jones averaged a team-high 19.5 points per game, shooting 57.8 percent from the floor, 38.3 percent from beyond-the-arc, and 78.3 percent from the charity-stripe.
Clark, a Bethalto, Ill., native, is named to the All-Defensive Team for the first time in his career. Offensively, he averaged a career-high 10.2 points per game, shooting 45.1 percent from the floor, and 72.8 percent from the charity-stripe. He's set new career-highs in rebounds (93), assists (110), steals (29), and blocks (three).
Wadlington, a St. Louis, Mo., native, also had a career regular season where he set new career-highs in points per game (10.0), field goal percentage (49.8), assists (45), and steals (25). On December 14th against Greenville, he posted a career-high 36 points in the 142-129 win. He finishes his tenure at Fontbonne averaging 9.1 points per game on a 48.5 field goal percentage.
