Men's Basketball Pulls Away Late For Win Over Iowa Wesleyan, Coddington Nets Career-High 22

How It Happened
Prior to the game, the Griffins honored Noah Coddington, Trenton Eckert, and Gus Kleekamp on Senior Day.
In the first half, the Tigers were a threat from downtown early going 7-of-8 which propelled them to a 33-22 lead over Fontbonne with 7:57 remaining.
Over the next six minutes the Griffins chipped away at the deficit going on a 16-6 run trimming the deficit down to 39-38 on Elijah Rice's bucket.
The Tigers led 42-38 but prior to the half ending the Griffins got a 3-pointer from Cody McKinney to put Fontbonne down 42-41 at the break.
Iowa Wesleyan shot 16-of-26 (61.5 percent) from the floor and went 9-of-11 from downtown. The Griffins were right there with them going 17-of-34 (50.0 percent) from the field and hit five 3-pointers.
In the second half, the Griffins took a 54-51 lead with 14:55 remaining on Anthony Jones' layup. The two teams continued to go back-and-forth with Iowa Wesleyan tying the game, 65-65, on Marvin Saintolien's 3-pointer with 6:09 left.
However, it was all Fontbonne the rest of the way closing out the game on an 11-1 run for the 10-point victory.
