The Fontbonne University men's basketball team dropped a one-point game nail-biter to Eureka on Wednesday night, 78-77. The Griffins remained on the road as they took on Webster in the Battle of Big Bend as they fell 88-74.
The Griffins drop to 5-12 on the season and 4-6 in league play.
On the Wednesday night's game, Charles Nelson led the floor with 27 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Kaden Augustine scored 17 points and pulled down four boards.
Kendall Horton added 13 points and five rebounds, while Jordan Lewis added 12 points and eight rebounds.
The Griffins made 30 field goals, nine threes and eight free-throws.
During Saturday afternoon's game, Lewis posted a double-double 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Nelson led the team with 21 points and five boards. Horton scored 18 points while Casey Crowley added 13.
Augustine pulled down six boards and scored eight points.
