Men's golf takes fourth place at SLIAC Tournament

April 25, 2012 - The Fontbonne University men's golf team finished in fourth place in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Golf Tournmanet held at Forest Park Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.

The Griffins shot a team three-round total of 944 just two strokes behind the third place team. Fontbonne was led by freshman Kory Carter who finished in 8th place individually in the tournament. Carter shot rounds of 77, 79 and 75 for a three-round total of 23, 19 strokes off the lead. Carter was followed by senior Charlie Martin who finished in 9th place in the tournament with a three-round total of 234 with rounds of 76, 80 and 78. 

Bryson Potts (239), Adam Roads (243) and Nolan Zoellner (250) rounded out the top five for Fontbonne.
