Griffins finish in 20th place at Illinois Wesleyan Invitational

The Fontbonne Univesity men's golf team competed in the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational this past weekend in Bloomington, Illinois. The Griffins took 20th place out of 26 teams.

Fontbonne fired a first round team score of 323 but struggled in the second round shooting just 354. The Griffins were led by freshman Bryan Easton and junior Kory Carter. Easton and Carter both fired opening rounds of 78 but then faultered to shoot second round 88's. Both finished with a two-round score of 166. Sophomore Zane Betz fired a two-round score of 177.

Fontbonne will return to the links on April 12th in Decatur, Illinois playing in the Millikin Invitational.
