Jacksonville, Ill. -The Fontbonne men's golf team overcame a six-shot deficit from day one to win the MacMurray Invitational. The tournament was held at The Links Golf Course in Jacksonville, Ill. Other teams at the match included Carroll University, Iowa Wesleyan College, Illinois College, MacMurray College and Blackburn College.

The Griffins were led by Kory Carter who finished in 3rd place with Zane Betz rounding out in fourth.

Fontbonne men's golf heads to Trappers Turn Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. to play in the Midwest Classic on September 29th.
