Men's Golf takes on the Midwest Region Classic

Green Lake, Wis. - Fontbonne men's golf traveled to the Midwest Region Classic hosted by Benedictine University at the Lawsonia Golf Course in Green Lake, Wis. Thirty teams and 163 players participated in the tournament.

The Griffins shot 327 on Friday and 334 on Saturday, tying for 21st place. Junior Brian Easton finished 23rd as he shot 80 and 74 for a 152 two-day total. Freshman Will Pruden led Fontbonne on Friday with a round of 76 followed by 86 on Saturday. Thomas Ritter and Michael Kanan finished just one stroke apart while Zach Goers rounded out the team score.

Fontbonne travels to play in the Oakland City Invitational Tuesday, September 29th.
