How It Happened
Illinois Wesleyan went on for the victory after scoring a 17-over par 589 (300-289). The Illinois Wesleyan "B" team shot a 29-over par 601 (306-295), while Carthage College scored a 40-over par 612 (317-295) for third.
Individually, Ben Johnson (Illinois Wesleyan) was the lone player under-par after he totaled an impressive 1-under par 142 (74-68) for the victory.
Cory Harrison (84-81) and Paul Henderson (85-80) both tied for 66th place after scoring a 22-over par 165. Harrison totaled one birdie on the day, while Henderson shot an even-par on the front nine, including hitting two birdies.
Will Pruden was the next Griffin on the leaderboard after he hit a 23-over par 166 (83-83). Matt Rapisardo turned in his scorecard with a 25-over par 168 (85-83), while Sam Kaminski ended the two-day event at 29-over par 172 (84-88).
Carson King, who played as an individual, totaled a 30-over par 173 (89-84).
