Men's Golf Sits In Fourth After Round One At The Evangel Fall Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—Round one is in the books at the Evangel Fall Invitational and the Fontbonne University men's golf team sits in fourth at 31-over par 319.
Host Evangel holds the top spot scoring a 19-over par 307. Lyon College hit a 26-over par 314 for second, while Williams Baptist has a marginal lead over Fontbonne at 28-over par 316.
Individually, Jake Brown (Evangel) is the lone player under-par after hitting a 1-under 71. Paul Henderson and Lake Deppe both had a strong first round hitting a 6-over par 78 for seventh place.
Carson King is in 17th place after totaling a 9-over par 81, while Cody McKinney is a stroke behind King in 21st at 10-over par 82. Cole Deppe turned in his scorecard with an 11-over par 83 for 27th.
