Men's Golf Closes Out Fall Season In Fourth At The Evangel Invite
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men’s golf team closed out its fall season with a fourth place finish at the Evangel Fall Invitational scoring a 44-over par 620 (319-301).
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men's golf team closed out its fall season with a fourth place finish at the Evangel Fall Invitational scoring a 44-over par 620 (319-301).
Host Evangel won hanging on with a 28-over par 604 (307-297). Lyon College ended in second place with a 32-over par 608 (314-294).
Individually, Jake Brown (Evangel) took home the victory hitting his way to a 1-under par 143 (71-72). Lake Deppe had his best career-finish ending in sixth place with a 6-over par 150 (78-72) after improving his first-round score by six strokes.
Paul Henderson also earned himself a top-10 finish ending in eighth with a 7-over par 151 (78-73). Carson King turned in his scorecard with a 15-over par 159 (81-78) for 21st, while Cody McKinney followed in 23rd at 16-over par 160 (82-78). Cole Deppe ended the two-day event at 23-over par 167 (83-84).
