Men’s Golf Competes at NAIA Memphis Shootout
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Fontbonne University men's golf team competed at the NAIA Memphis Shootout hosted by Sterling College. The Griffins took 13th place overall. Oklahoma City won the tournament.
The team shot 86 over in the first round, 95 over in the second round, and 97 in the final round. They shot a total of 1142.
JP Ruble led the Griffins finishing in the 56th spot. He shot 43 over par after three rounds. He shot 13 over in the first round (85), and 15 over in both the second and third rounds (87). He shot a total of 259.
Zach Williams came in next in 57th place. He shot 44 over par after three rounds. He shot 10 over in the first round (82), 16 over in the second round (88), and 18 over in the final round (90). He shot a total of 260.
Adam Cash placed 63rd. He shot 62 over par after three rounds. He 21 over par in the first round (93), 24 over in the second round (96), and improved to 17 over par in the final round (89). He shot a total of 278.
Kaden Augustine finished in 65th place. He shot 129 over par. He shot 114 in the first round, followed by 112 in the second round and 119 in the third round. He shot a total of 345.
