Alums, Griffins battle through rain storm

The Fontbonne University men's soccer program didn't let a rain storm dampered their annual alumni game as more than 25 former Griffin soccer players showed up to Centene Stadium Saturday for the game.

The 2012 Griffins knocked off the alums 2-1 on goals by Zach Schuchardt and Justin Williams. The alums goals came from Mike Diesel. The game was shortened due to thunderstorms.

Fontbonne opens its regular season this Saturday at Rhodes College against Millsaps College at 2 pm.
