Men's soccer releases 2013 schedule

The Fontbonne Univesity men's soccer program has released its 2013 schedule which is highlighted by trips to Texas, Iowa and Nebraska as well as non-conference games against regional powers Washington University and Augustana College.

The Griffins will open their season Labor Day weekend in the Lone Star state playing the University of Dallas and Austin College on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 respectively. Fontbonne's first home game will be on Sept. 5th against Lindenwood-Belleville University at 8:00 pm.

The Griffins will hit the road again in their non-conference schedule to play at Simpson College in Iowa on Sept. 13th and at Nebraska Weslyan on Sept. 15th. Fontbonne will play CCIW power Augustana College on Sept 22nd at Soccer Park in Fenton. The Griffins complete their  non-conference schedule against Washington University on Sept. 30th.

Fontbonne opens their St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) on Sept. 28th playing conference newcomer Iowa Wesleyan University. The Griffins first home SLIAC game will be on Oct. 12th against Eureka College. Fontbonne will also be hosting SLIAC 2012 champion Webster University on Saturday, Oct. 19th. The Griffins conclude their SLIAC schedule on Nov. 2nd hosting Blackburn College.
