Men's Soccer chosen to finish third in SLIAC Preseason Poll
The Fontbonne University men's soccer team was selected to finish in third place in their conference according to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Coaches Preseason Poll. The Griffins were picked behind preseason favorite to win the conference Westminster College and Webster University.
The Griffins are coming off a 13-7-1 season in which they finished 8-1 in SLIAC play and finished in a three-way tie for first place. Fontbonne however graduate several key components to last season's success and will be looking to a less experienced group this season. Fontbonne opens the 2014 season on Aug. 29th in Cinncinnati, Ohio against Mt. St. Joseph College.
