Decatur, Ill. - Fontbonne sophomore Ryan Dudley got the Griffins on the board first tonight at Millikin University, but the first goal of the second half wasn't enough to secure the win. Millikin netted two goals off corner kicks in Fontbonne's 2-1 loss.
The goal marks Dudley's first of the season. Millikin's offense totaled 25 shots on the night, with only 11 on target. The Big Blue held the 7-4 corner kick advantage. Fontbonne goalkeeper Jordan Alberici tallied nine saves in his effort to keep the Griffins in the game.
Fontbonne takes on MacMurray College this Saturday at 1pm in Highland, Ill.
