Alberici Collects His Second SLIAC Defensive Player Of The Week Award

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—For the second time this season, Fontbonne University men's soccer net-minder, Jordan Alberici, has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Defensive Player of the Week.

Alberici, a St. Louis, Missouri, native, improved to 9-0 on the season after making five saves in a 1-0 victory against Principia. His performance in net also secured the Regular Season Title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming SLIAC Tournament for Fontbonne.

The team returns to the pitch this Wednesday at Centene Stadium against No. 4-seeded Westminster College in the SLIAC Semifinals. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
