Eric Volk Named SLIAC Defensive Player Of The Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced men's soccer goalie, Eric Volk, as the SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Volk, a Florissant, Mo., native, led the Griffins to a 1-1 mark over the weekend. The junior net-minder compiled 15 saves, including eight against Aurora and owned a .789 save percentage in 180:00 minutes of action.

The Griffins return to action this weekend in Crawfordsville, Ind. They'll take on Franklin at 12 p.m., on Saturday, followed by a 1 p.m., outing against Wabash on Sunday.
