GREENVILLE, Ill.—The Fontbonne University men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a tough 2-0 loss against Greenville.
Game Breakdown
It was all Greenville throughout the first half finishing with a 14-0 shot advantage, but Dominic Haggard came up big with six saves keeping it a scoreless contest through 45:00 minutes of play.
In the second half, the Panthers broke the scoreless tie with Andre dos Santos sending a blast from 25 yards out past a diving Haggard into the top right corner.
The Panthers added another goal I the 89th minute with Juan Salazar scoring his third on the season making it a 2-0 final.

The Griffins will now get ready for the SLIAC Tournament Quarterfinals set to begin on Tuesday November 2nd. They'll enter as the No. 5 seed and visit No. 4 Blackburn. Time is TBA.
