Men's Soccer Plays To 0-0 Tie At Belhaven
JACKSON, Miss.—The Fontbonne University men’s soccer team had its first road test in 2022 and came away with a 0-0 tie against Belhaven.

JACKSON, Miss.—The Fontbonne University men's soccer team had its first road test in 2022 and came away with a 0-0 tie against Belhaven.
In the first half, the Blazers Adrian Eaglin had a scoring chance but his attempt went off the crossbar in the fifth minute. In the 14th minute, the Griffins threatened, however Ryan Schwentker's shot was stopped by Max Rudolph.
That'd be the final shot for the Griffins in the half with Belhaven having a 3-0 shot advantage till halftime.
In the second half, the Blazers continued its offensive pressure with a few chances but Dominic Haggard was there to make the stops keeping it a 0-0 game.
Belhaven had one final shot with less than a minute left as Christian Figueroa got behind the Griffins defense. Haggard, though was there to make the save to end the game.

- Fontbonne finished with eight shots led by Joe Noah with three.
- Haggard made three saves in net.
