ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men's soccer team got two late goals in the second half securing a 2-0 shutout win over Blackburn.
After a scoreless first half where Fontbonne had a 9-4 shot advantage, the Griffins took a 1-0 lead in the 75th minute.
Fontbonne was awarded a free kick and Ryan Schwentker headed it on for Joe Noah who took advantage of a misplay by Aidan Hamerlinck in net and he buried the loose ball for his fifth on the season.
The Griffins made it 2-0 seven minutes later stealing the ball from the Beavers defense. Joe Noah found Brandon O'Dell and he did the rest beating Hamerlinck for his fourth on the year.
