ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Fontbonne University men's soccer team defeated the Eutectics of University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy, earning their first win of the season. The Griffins improve to 1-6 on the season, while the Eutectics drop to 0-6 overall.
"I am very proud of the guys for how they have handled the season so far," said Head Coach Donnie Alberty. "Tonight, their character really showed. We give up a pk early in the match like that and then they just kept their composure and played very well."
"I am really happy for Pryk to carry over how well he finishes in training and then happy for Andy to get a goal. Overall, I thought the guys deserved to win and I am pretty happy for them," concluded Alberty.
