ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Fontbonne University men's soccer team took a 4-1 loss this evening to University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Griffins drop to 1-8 overall.
The Griffins got on board first with an unassisted goal by Brandon O'Dell in the 4th minute.
Two minutes later, the Warhawks tied the game. Then, scored one more to go into halftime with a 2-1 lead.
On the second period, the Warhawks scored two more to take a 4-1 victory over the Griffins.
Max Sarich, Carter Yumans, Andrew Kneale and Julian Telford each had one shot.
Dominic Haggard took the loss on goal. He played 90 minutes in goal and stopped six shots, with five coming in the first half.
Wis.-Whitewater outshot Fontbonne 20-5.
