ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Carter Youmans scored two goals in the Griffins' third shutout of the season. Fontbonne defeated Eureka College this evening, 2-0. The Griffins improve to 4-11 on the season and 3-3 in conference play.
"We have had a pretty good week and have put ourselves in a good position. We had a couple of really good performances tonight from Dom and Carter. Big game coming up on Saturday," stated Head Coach Donnie Alberty.
Stephen Pryk had the assist in Youmans' first goal of the night.
In the second goal, Max Sarich was credited with the assist.
Dominic Haggard earned the win on goal. He played 90 minutes in between posts and stopped 10 shots with six coming from the first half.
The Griffins outshot Eureka, 24-15.
