St. Louis- Fontbonne University men's volleyball put up a tough fight against #4 ranked Carthage on Saturday night. The Griffins fell 25-12, 25-18 and 25-16. Fontbonne is now 1-6 on the season.
Carthage's Connor Wexter recorded 42 assists during the match and Jon Storm recorded 15 kills.
It was a team effort for Fontbonne tonight as kills and digs were evenly distributed throughout multiple Griffins. Freshman Justin Winkelmann finished with 16 assists and 1.5 blocks. Barely leading the Griffins offensively was Marc Viglasky with the highest kill percentage and kills.
Fontbonne hosts Lindenwood (6pm) and Belmont Abbey (8pm) tomorrow, March 5th in the Dunham Student Activity Center.
