St. Louis, Mo. - The 2015 Fontbonne men's volleyball season as come to an end after the Griffins fell in their final two home games of the season to MSOE (3-0) and Lakeland (3-1). Before the Lakeland match, the Griffins honored outgoing players Peter Hibbeler, Marc Viglasky and Aaron Graue.
Against MSOE, Fontbonne's Hibbeler notched five kills on six attempts for a .833 hitting average while also walking away with three solo blocks. The national solo-block leader also had one block assist, an assist and two digs.
Against Lakeland, Fontbonne came out strong in their final game of the year, taking the match 25-19. In the second set, Graue became the first Fontbonne men's volleyball player to reach the 1000 career kill mark. On the day, Graue finished with 15 kills for a total of 1,012 career kills. Hibbeler was part of eight total blocks (two solo) while freshman Jacob Lendy tallied 28 assists. Viglasky recorded five kills, five digs and one solo block in his final collegiate game.
