Milwaukee, Wis. - Fontbonne University men's volleyball suffered a loss in their first of six consecutive road games. The Griffins avoided the sweep by defeating MSOE 26-24 in the third set.
Tony Pitaro led the Griffins with nine kills and a .500 kill percentage.
The Griffins pulled out five solo blocks on 13 team blocks. Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell achieved a team-high 14 digs and 19 assists.
Fontbonne is now even in MCVL play (4-4) and are 8-5 overall. The Griffins travel up the road from MSOE to Kenosha to take on No. 6-ranked Carthage College at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 18th.
