Men's Volleyball at Greenville Invite Preview

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men's volleyball team looks for its first wins on the year at Greenville when they'll take on Concordia Chicago at 1 p.m., followed by a 5 p.m., contest against Rockford.

A Look At The Griffins

• The Griffins are coming off a tough five-set loss against then No. 5-ranked Benedictine.
• The team tied its season-high with 56 kills, along with setting new season-highs in hitting percentage (.256), block assists (24), and total blocks (13).
• The 24 block assists are a single-game record at Fontbonne.
• The Griffins are putting down 9.55 kills per set and own a .121 hitting percentage.
• Cameron Graves leads with 83 kills and a .144 hitting percentage, while Braden Woolsey totaled 57 kills thus far and owns a team-high .279 hitting percentage.
• Setter Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell surpassed 2500 collegiate assists over the weekend. Thus far, he's averaging 8.31 assists per set.
• Defensively, Zach Rothstein posted 70 digs and needs just two more to become the first player in program history to reach 1,000 digs.

• The Cougars fell in straight sets in its most recent outing against North Central on Tuesday.

• Luke Vozenilek leads with a team-high 48 kills and .264 hitting percentage.
• Virgilio Rodriguez has 37 kills through four game thus far.
• Setter Brandon Stirn averages 6.93 assists per set and leads them defensively with 30 digs.

A Look At The Rockford Regents

• The Regents have fallen in straight sets against both North Park and Loras to start its 2020 season.
• Against Loras, the Regents finished with just seven kills and 15 errors for a negative -.182 hitting percentage.
• Against North Park to open the season the team ended with 18 kills and 11 errors for a .106 hitting percentage.
