Zach Rothstein Named MCVL Defensive Player Of The Week
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) released its first addition of he 2020 weekly awards and Zach Rothstein was named Defensive Player of the Week.
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) released its first addition of he 2020 weekly awards and Zach Rothstein was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Rothstein, an Evergreen Park, Ill, native, posted 70 digs thus far in 2020, averaging 2.41 digs per set. He racked up a season-high 21 digs against No. 5-ranked Benedictine.
During this stretch thus far, he's become the all-time leader in digs at Fontbonne and needs just two more to become the first player in program history to reach 1,000 collegiate digs.
The Griffins are back in action tomorrow at Greenville when they'll take on Concordia Chicago at 1 p.m., followed by a 5 p.m., outing against Rockford.
