ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men's volleyball team returns to action for the first time since its season was cut a season ago on Sunday against Olivet.

A Look At Fontbonne
- The team ended its shortened 2020 season 5-11 overall and returns most of its roster.
- On the offensive side of the net, Cameron Graves looks to build off his 2020 campaign where he finished with a team-high 184 kills.
- Braden Woolsey is back after posting 116 kills and a team-high 39 blocks at the net. Nate Paasch was having himself a career season with 83 kills.
- Setter Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell returns for one more run after totaling 521 assists, 115 digs, and 27 blocks in 16 matches. He's totaled 2824 assists in his career and needs just 126 to climb into the top 33 all-time Division III Men's Volleyball Record book.
- Defensively, Zach Rothstein compiled 156 digs last year to give him 1,084 in his career. He needs just 233 digs to become the all-time leader in NCAA Men's Volleyball Division III history. He's averaged 271 digs in his four seasons at Fontbonne.
- The team welcomes in newcomers Ryan Lively, Alex Gantt Joseph Huster, and Andrew Randolph that look to make a quick contribution to the program this year.
A Look At The Olivet Comets
- The Comets ended last year 1-14 overall.
- The team looks to replace its offensive hitters in Aaron Smith who finished with a team-high 129 kills and Brock Pringle with 120 kills.
- The Comets return just two players from last year with lone senior Dan Hayes leading with 68 kills.
