ST. LOUIS, Mo.—After a tough four-set loss against Loras, the Fontbonne University men's volleyball team bounced back bright and early on Sunday with a straight set win over Concordia Chicago.

Set Notes
Set 1: It was a close contest early, but the Griffins stretched its lead out to 16-11 on a Cougars attack error. From there, the Griffins finished the set off on a 9-6 run with a kill from Ryan Lively and two from Braden Woolsey securing the 25-17 opening set win.
Fontbonne totaled a match-high 19 kills in the set led by Lively with six on seven swings for a .714 hitting percentage. Woolsey and Cameron Graves added four each.
Set 2: The Griffins continued its dominance in the second from start-to-finish going on for the 25-14 win. Fontbonne had 14 kills and just one error on 23 swings for a match-high .565 hitting percentage. Lively hammered down five kills on eight swings for a .625 hitting percentage.
Set 3: In the third, the Cougars were hanging right there with the Griffins and led 16-14 on a kill from David Vales, Fontbonne answered with 6-3 run and finished the set off for the 25-20 win on Kolin Scharnhorst's kill.
