Men's Volleyball Stays Perfect In Conference Play; Woolsey Becomes All-Time Career Blocks Leader

Set Notes
Set 1: After back-and-forth action, the Thunder led 14-12 on Ted Hofmeister's kill. Fontbonne got the deficit down to 16-15, but the Thunder fended off Fontbonne stealing the first set for the 25-21 win.
The Griffins had 12 kills in the first set led by Nate Paasch with four. Ryan Lively had three, while Braden Woolsey and Cameron Graves contributed two kills each.
Set 2: It was all Fontbonne in the second taking a 12-3 lead on Cameron Graves' kill. They dominated the rest of the way cruising to the 25-10 win.
Fontbonne had 11 kills and a match-high .625 hitting percentage in the set. Paasch and Joseph Huster finished with three kills each.
Set 3: It was more of the same in the third with Fontbonne taking a 12-6 lead on a double block from Paasch and Woolsey. The Griffins remained in control throughout going on for the 25-15 win.
Fontbonne had a match-high 14 kills in the third led by Ryan Lively with five. Woolsey finished with four, to go along with a solo block and block assist.
Set 4: The Griffins opened with a 10-7 lead on a kill from Paasch. The Thunder kept battling and tied it up 19-19 on Hofmesiter's kill. However, the Griffins finished out the set on a 6-0 run capped off by Woolsey's kill for the 25-19 match win.
