Lively, Woolsey, And van Rossum-O'Connell Named To MCVL First Team, Huster Earns Second Team

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The MCVL released the All-Conference Team today and the Griffins came away with four honorees.

Ryan Lively, Braden Woolsey, and Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell were named to the First Team, while Joseph Huster earned second team honors.

Lively, a St. Louis, Mo., native, led the Griffins with a team-high 267 kills during the regular season which is sixth best in the nation. He owns a .311 hitting percentage, while setting new career-highs in both digs (119) and blocks (29). This is the second straight season Lively has been named to the MCVL First Team.

Woolsey, an Edwardsville, Ill., native, is back on the MCVL First Team for the second straight season. The senior dominated regular season play setting a career-high with 160 kills and ranks third nationally with a .471 hitting percentage. At the net, Woolsey has tied his career-high with 78 blocks.

Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell is a four-time MCVL First Team selection. The Joliet, Ill., native, is up to 865 assists on the year and is second nationally averaging 10.95 assists per set.

Huster, a St. Louis, Mo., native, has made an impact in 2022 setting new career-highs in kills (142), digs (10), solo blocks (15), block assists (35), and total blocks (50). He currently ranks 16^th nationally in hitting percentage.
