Set Notes
Set 1: The Griffins led early taking a 12-9 lead, however, the Tigers went on a 7-0 run having a 16-12 advantage on Michael Yurk's kill.
The Tigers remained in control the rest of the way going on for the 25-18 victory. Fontbonne finished with 10 kills and a .103 hitting percentage in the first, while the Tigers had 14 kills and a match-high .440 hitting percentage.
Set 2: The Tigers this time around grabbed a 12-7 lead forcing Fontbonne to take a timeout. After a timeout, the Griffins trimmed the deficit to 17-15, but the Tigers outscored Fontbonne 8-5 for the 25-20 win.
Set 3: In the third, the Tigers led 13-7 and stretched it out to 17-10. Fontbonne battled back trailing 21-17 on Logan Irby's kill, however, the Tigers closed out the set and the match for the 25-18 win.
