How It Happened
The Griffins grabbed a 1-0 lead on an error and capped the inning off with Gracie Morris belting a 3-run shot, her second of the season, giving Fontbonne a 4-0 lead.
The team tacked on three more runs in the third with Morris bringing home both Lilly Jones and Grace Paez on an RBI double. Hannah Miener followed with an RBI double of her own plating Morris extending the advantage out to 7-1.
In the fourth, the Griffins got a two RBI single from Paez and Grace Harlin singled to center plating Paez for the eventual 10-1 mercy-run rule win.

- The Griffins scattered nine hits in the win.
- Morris went 3-for-3 with two run scored and a career-high five RBI.
- Paez went 2-for-3 with a season-high three runs scored and two RBI.
- Harlin extended her hit streak out to seven going 1-for-3 with an RBI.
- Miener went 1-for-2 with an RBI, while Patience Vandermierden went 1-for-2 with a run scored.
- Inside the circle, Michaela Mason improved to 3-4 tossing 5.0 innings and sitting down one.

How It Happened
After Fontbonne took a 1-0 lead in the third, the Blue Jays answered scoring four runs on three hits in the fourth.
Fontbonne responded with five runs of its own on four hits getting RBI from Lexi Becker, Lilly Jones, and Grace Paez for the 6-4 lead. In the fifth, the Blue Jays scored four runs on four hits to take the lead right back, 8-6.
In the bottom half, Miener hit her second homer on the season, this one a solo shot to center, trimming the deficit down to one. The Griffins added another run later in the inning to tie the game.
However, the Blue Jays got an RBI groundout from Janae Shirk plating Mackenzie Myers, who led off with a single, for the 7-6 win.

- Paez pushed her hit streak out to five going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
- Lilly Jones reached safely in her last five going 1-for-4 with a run scored and one RBI.
- Galczynski went 2-for-4 with a season-high three runs scored.
- Vandermierden went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
- Harlin recorded another hit and run scored pushing her hit streak to eight.
- Abby Richmond got the tough no-decision going 5.0 innings, allowing three earned runs and siting down one.
