Fontbonne Softball Earns All-Conference Honors
The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released the Women’s Softball All-Conference Teams today and several Griffins were honored this season.
The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released the Women's Softball All-Conference Teams today and several Griffins were honored this season.
Senior Outfielder, Lexi Becker, earned All-Conference Second Team honors. Becker, from St. Louis, Missouri, played 34 games this season and had a .382 batting average with 19 RBIs and 25 runs.
Freshman Pitcher, Hailey Kutz, earned All-Conference Third Team honors. The lefty pitcher from Cape Girardeau, Missouri appeared in 17 games this season. Kutz had a dominating Freshman year with an ERA of 2.98 and 58 strikeouts.
Junior Infielder, Lilly Jones, earned All-Conference Third Team honors. The Benton, Missouri native played in 32 games, was an offensive anchor with a .378 batting average, 10 RBIs, and 27 runs.
Freshman Infielder, Allysa Ibarra, earned All-Conference Third Team honors. Ibarra, hailing from Romeoville, Illinois, had a batting average of .363, 16 RBIs, and 22 runs.
Senior Outfielder, Courtney Dingley, earned All-Sportsmanship Team honors. Dingley, from St. Clair, Missouri, played in six games, had a .500 batting average, 5 RBIs, and 7 runs.
