Griffins Softball Splits with MUW
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Fontbonne University softball team split their doubleheader with Mississippi University for Women on Sunday. The Griffins took a 4-1 victory on game one before falling short on game two, 4-3. The Griffins move move to 8-13 on the season and 3-1 in SLIAC play.

- Grace Paez went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
- Macy Brown went 2-for-2 with one RBI.
- Madelyn Holtmeyer and Brenna Foley each scored one run.

Hailey Kutz pitched the complete game and took the win in the circle. She struck out nine while alllowing six hits and one run.

Hannah Borgmeyer took the loss in the circle. She pitched 0.0 innings and allowed one hit and one run.
Hailey Kutz pitched 1.0 inning and struck out two while allowing one hit.
