St. Louis, MO - The Griffins put up a strong effort on the field, but despite their resilience, they fell 8-0 in their season opener matchup against the Calvin Knights. While the scoreboard may not have reflected the team's determination, there were several standout performances and moments of promise throughout the game.
Ashley Carrow and Macy Brown tied with a hit each. Additionally, Sam Foppe showcased her pitching with two strikeouts.
While the outcome wasn't in their favor, team is eager to bounce back stronger in their upcoming matchup against Franklin, Saturday, March 1, at 2 and 4pm.
