Fontbonne Sprint Football at Quincy Preview

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—After picking up its first win in program history, the Fontbonne University sprint football team looks for its second win on the year in a rematch against Quincy.

A Look At Fontbonne

• The Griffins got its first win last Saturday after knocking off Midway, 27-19.
• Chris Reckel, who was named MSFL Offensive Player of the Week, got the start at quarterback going 25-of-37 for 352 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran in two touchdowns.
• Reshad Singleton had eight catches for a season-high 134 yards and a score.
• Andre Webb had seven catches for 94 yards, while Jaylen Politte had seven catches for 85 yards and a touchdown.
• On the year, the Griffins average 219 yards per game with 165.0 coming through the air.
• Singleton leads the receiving core with 17 catches for 200 yards.
• Darrion White leads on the ground with 42 carries for 221 yards.
• Defensively, the Griffins hold teams to 224.2 yards per game.
• Avion Bass paces the defense with a team-high 45 tackles.
• Isaiah Sanders has 37 tackles and a team-high four sacks.
• Clayton Arrowood has 29 tackles.
• These two teams met back on September 17^th with Quincy winning, 7-0.

A Look At Quincy

• The Hawks are coming off a 46-7 loss against Calumet College of St. Joseph.
• Quincy looks to halt its three-game slide where they've fallen 21-7 to St. Mary-of-the-Woods and 12-0 against Bellarmine.
• The Hawks average 193.5 yards per game offensively.
• Taylor Klusmeyer leads on the ground with 46 carries for 113 yards and two touchdowns.
• Klusmeyer also has a team-high 264 yards through the air, while Nick Manzo has 263. The Hawks are looking for its first passing touchdown in 2022.
• Wideout Camden Pye has 25 catches for a team-high 229 yards.
• Defensively, the Hawks allow 217.8 yards per game.
• Ray Lingard has a team-high 44 tackles and 8.5 tackles for loss.
