ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University sprint football team closed out its 2022 season with a 6-0 win over Midway to finish in fifth place in the Midwest Sprint Football League.

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University sprint football team closed out its 2022 season with a 6-0 win over Midway to finish in fifth place in the Midwest Sprint Football League.
It remained a scoreless game up until the fourth quarter when Xavier Reddock picked off DJ Palmer at the Midway 49 yard line.
The Griffins capitalized on the mistake going 49 yards on seven plays capped off by Darrion White rushing it in from 10 yards out for his first score on the season.
The Griffins defense came up big once more with Isaiah Sanders collecting consecutive sacks which turned the ball over on downs giving Fontbonne the win.
